Weeds of Humanity

There was a town deep in the woods, far from every other cities and villages of the world. They were always happy and satisfied with the things they had. The town was built around a big field where the community together could raise plants they needed. Each year when the time comes, the villagers went to the filed, worked on, and at harvest time, all of them took only the amount they really needed.
But the time passed, and once at harvest time a greedy man took more than he would have needed. The villagers didn't take it bad, they forgave and behave as nothing would happen. This behavior also wasn't a good example to the other people... Next year, that man repeated the same mistake. So than some people said "How is this possible? We work for only what we need, and then the other takes the fruit of our work too? What about us? About our wealth and survivor?" - So this way, other people started to take more and more for themselves too.
Next year, the half of the village lived happily and full of wealth, without the need of food or anything... but the other part started to be ill, weak and skinny because of the lack of food. The balance was totally broken, and no one cared about it. The weak people had to work on the field, and the other part of the villagers just took more and more... since that one year when everything started to change. The nature started to show people what they are doing. The field that was always full of fresh vegetables started to get "ill" of weeds. The plants couldn't raise perfectly because of the bad ones, that took all the minerals from the healthy and nutritious plants. Season by season the plants became smaller and weaker, as the people did because of the greedy ones. Now the nature gave greedy plants, the weeds to show them the same behavior as a lesson. The weak people couldn't work any more, so the "big ones" had to go to the fields, and when they saw weed everywhere and no vegetables they started to panic and get angry on each other.
Then a spirit raised from the center of the field, and said: "You, greedy people, you are so blind! For hundreds of years we are watching over you, helping to have everything you need, but what you do in change?" - "But we worked, and did everything for the field!" Said one of the people. - "No, you haven't! The weak and suppressed people work for your wealth, and what do you give in change?" - "Well, they can take the food they need as they did before..." - "Do you really see like this? They can only take what you leave on the field, what you and your greedy ego doesn't take! You are too blind to see what have you done! So look at the field and see it... See the greedy plants, the weeds and their kind work with your vegetables." - "But our vegetables are dieing! Almost dead... we don't even have what to eat..." - "Yes, you're right. So now? You were the WEEDS of the village, and took everything from the other villagers, as the weeds took everything from the VEGETABLES you raised... Still seeing blindly through the situation? This is what happens. If you don't change, the field won't change too. Take in consideration your every step and always look at the field as you would look into a mirror, then act upon you want or need but always keep in your mind the field and the life of the village. Everything is up on you to decide... "
